Beaver Wizard

I was commissioned to create a character to celebrate USPS’ release of Dungeons and Dragons stamps. I was tasked to design a post card front and back for a Postcrossing event in Durham, NC. Durham, nicknamed “Bull City” is overrun with bull characterization, so I chose another local wildlife, the beaver. Drawing inspiration from the official city flag and slogan (seen below) , I created a druid wizard hybrid specializing in elixirs and salves to heal and protect.
